Managment software and website

The challenge

MNL is a high school student's union, and in late 2017, they planned on creating a new website.

As high school student's union is made of high school sudents, it is not always well organized, and often needs help and reminders, thus, as I was young (between 15 and 17 years old), this became one of the greatest challenges I had to face.

I had to create a very flexible website, with the possibility to change themes, a page system, an article system, a press release and newsletter to journalist system and a membership managment system.

The website

The website, managed by its included CMS allowed admins to update themes, create new articles, new pages and new hero sections.

The admin panel & features

As this project is now close to be 7 years old, and the MNL choosed to make brand new websites in 2021, late 2022 and mid 2024, there are no remaining archives of this admin panel.

Let me describe it to you anyways : the tool allow each local office to have its sub wesbite, with their own press releases and newsletter systems.

On the national side, the admins were able to publish articles with hero images and WYSIWYG content, to make pages with something similar to what's called today a block-style editor system, and to update the homepage with pre-made customisable sections avalaible in each themes.
